'got out for a day of fishing off Block Island with my brother and his crew. After a snotty ride out, we really got into 'em. Stripers, blues and a few bonitos. Fished with wire and umbrella rigs, not my favorite, but it made for a great show with multiples on. My nephew, who weighs all of 120, had a double striper hit with both fish over 25lbs. The larger at 33lbs. I think he needed a nap after we landed them! My brother hit a double on the bonitos, I had a quad on blues. All in all, 3 bonitos, 8 stripers (7 over 25lbs.) and I didn't count all the blues. A beautiful day, great fishing and company and a few freezers full of meat. A few shots below. Tim

Sounds like a great fishing trip early bird, Lots of good eats!

MMmm Stripah! Looks like you guys had a great time with your hands FULL! And it looked like a beautiful day!

We were in Watch Hill, RI a few weeks ago for the best 8 hours ever! If you have never been out for these giant monsters, you have to. We limited on our dozen stripers and had countless blues. Talk about major arm pains the next day. The initial strike of these fish is more addicting than crack!
