Well it is mid August, and we here at An Bradon Charters are having a excellent season. We have begun the transition from Salmon fishing to warm water fishing, primarily SMB and Pike. Salmon on the Inland Sea are still willing to play on given days.50-80 feet and doing 2.7 or better sometimes gets them going. More and more shakers and the perch nightmare is expected any day. Flash Kings, speedy shiners in rainbow, chartruse silver, and pink silver rule. Back to the Warm water. Pike are hitting well over certain areas and the SMB seem to move daily. Pike we are using a variety of spinner baits and inline spinners. SMB we are using Carolina rigged senkos in watermelon 90% of the time. I have had some very credible reports of A decent Walleye bite further South. Sloop Island has been producing Walleye from what I hear in 30-50 feet of water using worm harnesses. We don't fish down that way much and so the information I have is second hand. But I have seen the results and it looks good. Good Luck!! Captain Tony www.anbradoncharters.com

Good to hear the SM and Pike are biting...After a two year hiatus from LC, I'm coming back this weekend. Our usual July vacation got delayed a bit...But, here's to hoping the late summer LM, SM and Pike are waiting for me! We'll be in Grand Isle...CANNOT WAIT to get back.
