Had a half hour to kill at Arnold's Bay this AM... Tossing a 4" Yamamoto Watermelon Red/Green on a 1/8oz Charlie Brewer Slider Head hook... First fish was about 6 inches, and wasn't even hooked...Little bugger just would not let go of the worm... This one was hooked well, and it was a good thing... Please don't tell anyone that I went over to the dark side... ;D

I thought I was done with driving the kid to Swim Team in Vergennes, but I was just informed that I may get a couple more days down there this week... I just Texas rigged one rod, and rerigged the Charlie Brewer Spider Slider on another for tomorrow AM... I may even bring the whole box of soft baits that I have acquired over the years...

HMMMMM Basseye... I like the sound of that
You cannot go wrong with a senko i've had luck on the 4in clear with silver black and gold flake
Texas with a 3/0 hook or wacky with a #2 octopus hook, use a rubber O-Ring for wacky I find the worm stays on the hook longer.

Cool.
I've got some Senkos I picked up last fall and haven't brought out yet. Hopefully tomorrow evening.
I've never spent any real time with plastics but after reading how much they love the Senkos and how easy it "seems" to be to properly fish them wacky rigged I'm hoping even I can make it work.

Bass Eye? Maybe you can create another alias screen name for the dark side. ;D
So, is that like an old Star Trek episode with the parallel universe and one side good an another evil? Or one side silver and the other brown.

I met his cousin on Sun, jigging for perch around buoy 51, maybe a touch shorter but a lot of fun on light weight stuff.
