Thanks Raz...Awesome fish...puts hopes in all of that after a couple dozen stockies that maybe...just maybe we can starting seeing more of those!

talked to Alan at the awards ceremony, it was caught on his red & white 61 gun. location was on the NY side near some island?

That is one great fish. I thought it would have been fatter, and not so long to get to 9 pounds. Imagine what this fish could get too if it was a fat hog?
I see it was weighed alive does anyone know if it was put back in the lake?

that's pretty cool. I saw this gut win during the LCI, but of course never remembered his face. Then last weekend went to his bait shop in Meredith, NH and never knew it was the same guy until this posting mentioned the bait shop. Noe the face looks familiar. Seemed like a pleasant guy too, and yes he has a really nice shop. Bought a couple of jerkbaits for bass.

I used AJ's top gun spoons exclusively when I fished Lake Champlain last weekend. I found them to have great wobble and would recommend them to anyone.
