Has anyone had luck on the gut yet? Was wondering if it would be a good spot this weekend. Thanks for your help.

I was hoping to head up that way tomorrow, so I'll check back with what I find. It was slow a couple weeks ago. But then again maybe I was just in the wrong places

We fished the Gut over the holiday weekend. Last year at the holiday weekend we could not get over the PIKE in there. This year, one caught- none scene. THe back side by the bridge produced some medium sized LMB and that was it.

The N shoreline is loaded with rock bass. Fish the shoreline until your arms drop off.

Water temps are about 5-9 degrees off from previous years. I am assuming you are looking for bass? Things will be getting going any day as mother nature will not wait for ideal conditions for the spawn. It may come down to a very short window. Capt. Tony www.anbradoncaherters.com

Capt. is right on the money the cooler weather has things a little behind this year. The temps are going to be near 90 in the next couple of days, that is going to change things.

Those are buoys, if you look close you will some numbers and letters along side them. If you look the the far left on the chart you see a green square and it says G C-1 which means a green colored Can buoy, up above that one there is a red square with R N-2 which stands for a Red Nun buoy. The purple teardrops next to the buoys indicates a lighted buoy.

I fished the reef just outside towards the broads and had some nice smallie action there mid-day last year. Inside I nailed lots of pike and LMB's
