Here is a picture of the Whirling Weezie Downrigger Weight that I had mentioned in another post. Also, a picture of a mooselook and DB smelt lures painted with the Fed-Ex color scheme. These have been consistently hot lures all season.

The Whirling Weezie nose was originally all black. I painted the tip red and added the purple paint.

I have seen those before...Just never in action...

Fishinmachine, I purchased the weight at Dockside, but they do not have anymore. Apparently Jim Dattilio has some, but they are pricey. I bought mine on sale, but feel that when some flash and movement is working on the salmon, this weight along with verticles seems to do well.
Salmoneye, My main fishing partner painted some lures with this color scheme a couple of years ago and it has been a consistent lure for the both of us. This year during the derbies it had a tremendous catch rate. We have caught salmon on the DB smelt and speedy shiners and also larger lures like the mooselook and sutton spoon painted with this color scheme. The best ones seem to be on the copper lures, although we have caught fish on lures with a white back as well. Jim Martino has done up some honeybees with this color scheme also.
