i've been on a tackle buying spree, and i saw some lures from china on ebay.in the picture it looks really good, but i was hesitant to get since it came from china and would take 3-4 weeks to get it. we'll i bought a set any way.it got here today and to my suprise its really made well.i compared it side by side with my lucky craft sammy and they were just as good or better.the only thing i didn't like were the hooks.but it will more than suffice for any fresh water application.@ less than a dollar a piece i can have hundreds at my dispossal.i'm all for keeping the money local, but the more i buy locally the more i feel like i'm getting screwed.theres no reason for a crankbaits or any lure to cost $10-30 dollars a pop.@this price i don't mind loosing a few for any reason.

I'd be interested to know how they run. I've had bad luck with cheap lures. They tend to run to one side and the last thing I have time for is tuning lures.
Post some pics if you can and let us know how they swim...

the black and the one next to it is lucky craft sammy china lure next to river2sea wide glide and super zara spook china lure lucky sammy the china lures has a really thick coat of epoxy on it, much more than my rapala f-11, clackin and crankin rap,. the hooks are cheap looking but the splitring and thru wire looks fine. I only ordered the three to test against rapalas,luckycraft,river2sea,daiwa,poes,bomber,rebel,and other. after i test them on the water i'm gonna cut them open and disect it. i really think these will hold up to any fresh water application. More to come after field testing........

Just don't lick any of the ones with red paint. That, and the owners of the local tackle shops like to eat every day. Or so I assume...

Bold Statement?
Have you ever done any business with the Chinese? They think different from you and me.

Personally I find irony in the fact that the chinese are dumping low cost lures here, manufactured in a way that would never fly here, when our own manufacturers and distributors incure the cost of enviromental regs designed to protect the waters that the chinese lures will be used in. Then add to that people will fall over themselves to buy the cheaper chinese goods while at the same time voting for those that legislate requirements the chinese laugh about. I wont even get into Christians being rounded up and jailed at Easter for worshipping in Churches that are not on the govt. approved list. To each his own...some have no problem buying chinese goods if they can save a buck, some would prefer to support our own. Nothing wrong with personal preference, everyone makes their own decision.

Don't buy anything under the Rapala umbrella then... This includes Luhr-Jensen, Storm, and a host of others... Not one is made in the US: • Factories in Finland, France, Ireland, Estonia, and Chinawww.rapala.com/about/fast_facts/Just sayin'...
