Lots of scouting over a couple times out - usual spots not yielding much - last night found some nice ones in 2' - 6' drop off, square bill crankbait lit em up. Random pick from Lakeshore Ace bargain bin - Bomber in a color I have never used before. All over 3 lbs., one close to five. Couple runs of a fish every cast. Maybe 20 nice, solid smallies. Gotta love our Lake Champlain!

Great report. That sounded like a bunch of fun. Never know about those bargain bin baits. Sometimes you get a good deal. I've used Bomber''s for decades. They make a good shallow/medium crank.
