Took my grandson to one of my favorite Conn. River walleye holes(40 ft.). We tossed 1/4 oz. jigs and crawlers for last two hours of day and took home 4 nice fish. Great time of the year because walleye feed well in the late afternoon as son gets low. Anyone with a boat should be able to locate dozens of these deep water holes. Pike are also up in the shallows again. Dick

On top of that, I heard a rumor that the Caledonian had an article/picture/something about a pike caught at Comerford. The word I got was 44" and 20+lbs. And to think, I haven't fished Comerford since getting the boat out for a shakedown this spring!
