Any suggestions on where the fish are located this time of year around North Hero?

Gte close to the sanbar Causeway, perhaps try Apple Tree Bay area with Slug-go type baits, Senko's in smoke-glitter or junebug.....also big shiners for pike.

A good place for Smallmouth is Gull Island reef especially around the south end of it. The area around Butler island and knight island (and between them) is also good for Smallmouth. The shoreline of Isle Lamotte is good too. Just look for areas with lots of rocks on the bottom. Thats where the Crayfish live and they are a Smallmouth's favorite meal. For Largemouth Carry Bay is good and so is the Alburg passage. The passage is lined with weeds on both sides and the weeds hold lots of Bass.
