Finally got moved in to our new place, and had a free evening to get out for a few hours. Set up on the eastern shore heading north. Sea was pretty rough, but we got set up with a couple rod on the riggers, a leadcore with 5 colors out, and a longline with a reef-runner, in case there were any hungry eyes about. We were pestered by small stuff all evening, pulled in 1/2 dozen perch, 4 little stocky salmon, a whitefish, and 5 smelt! In between all that, we went 2 for 4 on actual releases, boating a couple nice 18-19 inch salmon for my buddy to take home for the grill. Felt great to get out for a few hours! No special spoon was hot, everything we put out got hit, salmon came on blue/silver mooselook, and a black/yellow/silver chicken wing stinger. Saw an awfull lot of stuff on the depth finder right on the bottom in 90 to 120' of water, anybody know what those might be? Ran riggers at 50' and 60' down, 35 and 40 back. Fun night!

Randy, your buddy will love those good eating sized salmon, grilled. Thanks for the report. See any lamprey or scars?
