Met up with my buddy Tim at Maple Corners store at 7 this morn. and we headed out to Bliss pond which is between Maple Corners and Adamant off the County Rd. Launched his jonboat and away we went. Tim tied into a nice largemouth off a Texas rigged Kinami worm in chart/white. It went about 3 lbs. We were into the pickerel really heavy for the 4 hours we were out there. Everything worked for them. I got one at 24 inch off a white chatterbait. Lost a good one on a silver Timberdoodle with a 2 inch yellow grub. Lost the Timberdoodle, too. Caught pickerel on Texas rigged curly tail worms in amber/pepper, silver and white spinnerbaits, you name it. All fish were released to fight another day. Got rained on a little, but not bad. All in all not a bad morning. I'll be heading out there again soon to fish the lilypads with some weedless frogs and such. I've got a feeling..... ;D

Nothing better than slowly retrieving soft plastics and watching them change direction and slammin' that hook in! Good luck on your next outing

Thanks for the report. I had Timberdoodles once too. But use mostly Johnson spoons now with twin tail grubs.

Lots of fish in that report. Thanks.
(I got lost in some of the terminology but it sounds exciting!)

Nice report. I've heard of 5# LM coming out of Bliss Pond. I live less than 15 minutes from Bliss, but never have fished there.
