Jon Bridges of Bartlesville, Okla. took top honors at this year's Okie Noodlin' Tournament with a 68.6-pound flathead catfish, the largest ever taken in the 10-year history of the event. More than 170 individual noodlers were entered this year and a huge crowd convened at Bob's Pig Shop in Paul's Valley for yesterday's official weigh-in. Kelly Bostian in the Tulsa World. These guys are a little special if you ask me.

That's a beast of a flathead whether by rod or hand...

Special isn't the word. I sure wouldn't be sticking my hands into a log to pull out a fish.
