I have at least a hundred. We used to love the medium size in the Spring ESLO for Kings in the 80's. Next size up in black and purple for the late August Kings back in the day. They are great lures and some great colors.

Back in the 80's they were the "Go to" lures for Ontario Brian. I am underestimating when I say 100. We bought many at the Ontario candy stores back then. We rarely used them here though with limited success for salmon and only in the smallest sizes. But, in Ontario they were hot! Long before Dreamweavers, NK's, and Michigan Stingers. They won many ESLO tournaments back then. Greg Yarborough our Starcraft rep and Walleye tourney Pro who gave a clinic on fishing walleye's sponsored by the LCI told me he has a lure collection maybe in the tens of thousands. That is scary! He says many days of eating pork and beans just to buy lures.

Good stuff Ron. I can remember a time many years ago when Eppinger's red and white Dardevle spoons were among my most prized possessions. They were heavier and better made than the imitators. Boy, I hated to lose them on snags!

I would hate to buy any quantity of lures now when you walk away from a tackle shop with a tiny bag of lures for $100.
