We left St. Albans Bay launch area about 7:30 and set up near Ball Island. Headed toward the Georgia shore, then south past Eagle Mtn. Then we picked up and spent the last hour from the Cow Banks heading north.
Not a lot of success to report. We caught 2 perch, 1 rock bass, 1 small mouth, 2 small browns, and we lost 3 small salmon. We had 3 empty releases and another keeper fish on at one point and we landed only one 21" salmon. We were fishing with 6 rods and 10 lures, so we had the depths covered from 35' to 60'. The salmon came in the 40' to 45' range. The one keeper salmon came on a #3 silver needlefish.
We got off the water around 2:00. We were off before the rain; a great day to be on the water.
