Brock, catching those two beauties and fishing with guys that showed you how to break down the body of water was worth the whole trip.
I think you will find that drop-shotting under the right conditions will produce a lot of fish. Getting a 7#+ LM is something I can only hope for.

I sometimes will use a leech if the wind isnt too bad here on champlain--gulp make a good one. For fishing cribs or reefs they do pretty well when nothing else will seem to work Forget it on windy days, just can't seem to manage it on those days where everything is moving.
