Started around 3:30 pm set up half way down the fill running north to south, just got the 6th rod set, and hooked up with a walleye, 3.5lbs, 200ft back, blk/gold deep diver rebel off the board. 25ft of water heading to the corner(iron bridge) same lure fires, northern around 6lbs, set rod again, it goes...walleye 4lbs. Another 1/2 hr, another pop, same rod, Northern. Had 2 other pops on rigger, purple/pink bee, nobody home. The kids were sweating and whining for the beach...brought them in to swim...a pile of bait from the big draw in the fill all the way to porter's...plenty of marks...speed was 1.8mph on fishhawk, 2.1 SOG. Considering we fished all of about 2 hrs and didn't stay until primetime(dark) a walleye an hour works for me...!

Yeah, I wouldn't complain either. An eye an hour, that'd be just fine with me. Thanks for the interesting report. Glad the kids got to swim.

I've been saying that they are around but no one is targeting them (and those that are seem to be very tight lipped)...
Thanks for the report...
Full moon is coming...

thanks for the report Scott. an eye an hour works well for anyone. I use to fish that area years ago for them glad to see that they are still there.but having the camp up north I haven't gotten down that far for eyes in a while

Thanks for the report Scott. That area has always been good. Between the Walleye, Pike and Bass there's always something going on. I'm hoping to get out for some eye's this weekend.
