vtbassin - Sounds like you had a great vacation. The weather and the fish cooperated. great photos. Gotta love the small pond fishing from a kayak or canoe.
What do you do with your paddle when you have a fish on? Hold it in your lap or do you have some sort of tie down?

If we do it just for fun, does it really matter if we have non-boaters. I have a canoe so I could take a "non-boater". We can figure it out.

I keep the paddle in my lap most of the time. That way it is ready if I need to maneuver. That is more important in moving water than on a pond.

Brock is the non boater in a canoe in the front? I think I would rather be in the front and let the person in the back put me on fish I am thinking this tournament would be a fun get together in whatever paddle craft is available - canoe or kayak. We could go to Richfield dam and have a frog fishing contest. George
