We rented a house in Wesport for the week of June 25th, and was looking for any advice on spots, etc for both Bass & Pike. Thanks

My best advice in that area is Otter Creek on the VT side, just a little north of Westport in the Narrows section of the lake. I haven't fished it much, but had had a couple of big pike absolutely slam spinner baits in the lower section of the river. Hope that helps. Also, if you run south of the Champlain Bridge in Crown Point, there is a lot of prime pike water there as well - 12 lb + pretty common when we've fished for them there. Good luck!

Thanks LJ. I was also looking at the bulwagga bay area. Someone had also mentioned Potash for smallies? I've only fished the lake a few times and most were either ticonderoga south or up by Rouses Point. Its such a big lake and everything looks so good. Thanks again

Potash wold probably do well for you too. I've not really had the chance to chase Smallies much (my Dad trolls for either walleyes or lakers & salmon). That said, I've seen a lot of boats taking them working the points off the VT side from the first pumping station north to the Narrows. I found this online article which talks about bass and pike fishing cross the whole lake, and it was pretty helpful - www.nesportsman.com/articles/article156.shtml. Good luck and let me know what you find. I'm hoping to get up again for some smallies next year:)

I fished potash for smallies last year the same week. Not worth the 7 or 8 mile trek from westport.
