Just a matter of weeks now and we will be trolling the shoreline for those beautiful big browns and the occasional bonus Steelhead, Atlantics, Cohos and Kings! Getting pretty fired up about it!

Oswego is one of my favorite protected ports to fish out for spring browns and kings and late August for staging kings from 1990-2005. Perfect for a small boat 19 ft and accessable deep water only 1.5 miles from the launch.
One never tires of the Big O!!!!

I agree, Oswego is about as good as it gets. I fish Fairhaven as often as I can in the spring also, not much traffic, super local folks and good fishing. I do not do well there after spring though, probably just me. I hop[e post a fantastic report in early April! Tight lines to all.

Shake n Bake, I agree, this is our 22nd year in a row staying there...great launch, great locals...we have gotten to know quite a few folks there and it has been a very enjoyable experience...the fishing has improved in the last couple years as well...not to what it was 20 yrs ago, but still very good.....this is the 3rd or 4th year of penn rearing in Fair Haven, hopefully it will pay dividends soon.....there are 4 boats going over...so if your there and see the vt registration...stop in....
