Last night had some deer in the back yard and then I noticed they kept looking up into the woods as if something was watching them. I got to my perch that I look for coyotes on my bait pile and noticed a house cat up there. He soon moved off but the deer kept a lookout and so did I. After a ten minutes or so a large bobcat came across the hill and I ran down stairs and got the video camera. This morning I went up and checked my game camera and to my surprise there was a picture of two bobcats on the bait at once. here is some pictures and a couple video links

Very cool thanks for sharing! A number of years ago I trapped with an old timer and he always said that the cats were always in pairs, male/female. That first year I got a big tom 33pounds and the females cats tracks were in the snow all around the set. The next year I got another tom and could hear the chain clanking when I went down the trail to the two sets. I looked in the bushes and see the tom as it growled at me, and that is when the female cat exploded on a dead run out from under my feet Came close to chitting my pants ;D The other set held a grey fox that was likely used as a puss cat batter for the cats amusement as it was missing a lot of fur. Neverless, the bobcat is one of natures wonders and I am glad we have them in the north woods.

Hairbone -I couldn't agree more, they are very neat critters for sure. Saw a Canadian Lynx in northern Quebec a few years ago on a fishing trip and that was quite a critter. 100% adapted to that low to the ground scrub spruce and alder; long legs, huge feet. Dang near gave me a stroke as it sprang from the roadside as I was walking back to camp.
