Made a brain cramp decision this week that Sat storm was too much wind out of the s/se to fish either Champlain or Lake George. So we get up in the middle of the night and head for Mexico ;D . We pull into Mexico point at first light and watch sheets of rain blowing at 30+out of the sse, Lake is flat but boat control is interesting to say the least. Set boards up going out between the rocks get 2 rods on starboard 1 on port the wind is stopping the release from sliding down and we pull a double off the 2 starboard lines with only 3 rods in the water. We had 2 triples thru the day and numerous doubles. It did not matter what we had in the water. Stinger Gobie alewife black and chrome everything fired. Ended the day at 2 with 26 browns landed for 29 releases. I tried to keep our depth at 8-13 fow.We had 3 fish over seven the rest were 3-5 # footballs. Wet cold but a trip that I will not forget for quite a while

Congrats again Scott! You are definitly one of the most hard core fisherman I know. I spent the weekend installing an arch and miscellaneous odds and ends. I think I'm ready now, except for tying 10 flourocarbon leaders!
Tight lines!
Did you call earlier in the week? Cindy told me SATURDAY evening that someone left a message regarding a fishing trip! If it was you sorry for the late response!
