Well things moved a little north today. Stopped in 150 looked a bit Checed temp Pulled the moor moved out too 250 to set up on one of my favorite pieces of under water Structure. With the change in Wind there was too much current there and the picture was a bit Bleak. Setup 3 rigger 2 diver 2 cores n a 400 copper. Took one quick but one loop over the drop off not much there Played a hunch pointed north and after about a 3 miles troll with one bit I finally found Bait and of course Salmon. My 135 rigger towing a white green dot pro-troll with a Shredded Hammer started producing. Green Pro troll with a custom Green Krinkle as well at 117' Middle road dead n diver too. Finally got a double on divers 260 and 304' White Green Dot Hammer. and Custom UV spinnie towing a b-fly. Switched over too a full steelhead program but no luck today only kings on our steelie stuff. Very good day today slow start strong finish. Copper got bit 2 times that was it and Lead never bit today Caught several on My sliders today. Sliders have been earning there keep lately Tight Lines WWW.redlinesportfishing.com

Enjoy your reports bigfish. Would you say the King fishing right now is peak off shore or is that to come. How are the fleas this year.

Its not really an off shore thing. 130-170 has fish I just chose to not stay in the skinny stuff to avoid any boat traffic due too my style of fishing. Prefer to be over deeper water, More fuel but much more freedom. Skinny water has plenty of trout Another limit on my pm trip today. Plenty of catch and release. The weather has been very favorable for almost any size boat. Today you could have fish 600 in a canoe. I would rather fish 2 trips a day in july every day rather fish on trip in September in 20-40 fow. Fleas are here some places worse than others. If you have a quality fish locator you can see them on the machine. Outside the current line in about 280 i see very little in the way of fleas inside that you see plenty depending on location. Today the further I went west the less i saw but headed northeast and saw them very good. Divers are loading up but not the worst i have seen 30 lb mono is working Some on the swivels and tip of spoons The worst I have seen over the years is to have them collecting on the hooks. If your planning a trip i suggest july. Its the best month if you like to fish. Great weather and many choices of fish too target. Today i had about a 12-15lb atlantic chase my cheater to the boat on a line the angler was reeling in with a brown trout on.
IT'S GREAT!!!!! Tight lines

Taday we started a bit late. The guys wanted too leave the doc at 6:30 No biggie!! Full moon late moon set figured no big deal. Made our way out to where I was planning on starting. Lighting Bolts cloud to ground west of my position chased us off the lake to a very good hiding spot. Waited out the strom which brought 30+ knot winds took an hour. Set lines at 8:30 withing ten minutes it was fish on and on and on. The trout are here and biting very very good. Current today was bad up wind it was 1.5 down speed and down wind it was 2.25 . Tip of was divers where grounding going opposite direction piced it up divers off the bottom things worked!! Stingers today. dirty white boy, green glow alewive. Salmon in the am trout tomorrow pm. Site has pic's for those in Question. Tight lines www.redlinesportfishing.com

Its been good for salmon. But anytime we get changing winds the fish move. Yesterday we fished kings in 194-198 fow. If you moved from that picture you saw nothing and did nothing. Afternoon trip we targeted browns in Skinny 76-78 fow Good temp there. Today we had too fish 58-61 fow to get them . The point i am making is the water moving keeps it a Challenge everyday. The wind blows west one day then North then south. Makes it tougfh to predict the offshore fishing, But offshore water tends too be more stable than the near shore water. inside its a real tight break 4 feet 8 degrees. Out in the offshore water its more of a 20-30 foot change. If the weather is good and you don't mind a 5-7 mile run and you keep an eye on the weather I suggest now. There are still salmon inside but seem too be more picky while the fishing offshore seem too be more stable. In 2 weeks I expect too be fishing 4oo-600 fow too be where its a bit more stable. The next west blow will push the thermocline down and move the Kings offshore too the deeper water. I want them between 90-115 down. Thats the best depth but will go too 200 down when need be or further but then its solely a rigger bit. So watch the weather and be prepared and Most of all Get Out and FISH !!!!!
