I'm not sure if we generated enough activity last summer to get this board active again. I saw a post on the shoutbox here that someone else had left the other board in October so I'm guessing the drama continued over there. I haven't been back to check the other board since last summer after that drama. Disappointing too since this is the time of year I'm chomping at the bit for fishing news while I'm waiting for ice out! Hopefully we'll be on the water in a few weeks though. Do you already have open water down your way?
It would be nice to see this board come back to life with some helpful (non-judgemental) discussions!

In the spring you can catch some nice salmon at the sandbar in south Hero. They go through that causeway which makes them easy to target. We just hook a minnow through the tail and put a sinker (heavy enough to keep the current from moving it) about 2-3 feet above the minnow. That way the minnow is fluttering a couple feet off the bottom. Drop it in front of the causeway and they will grab it as they go through. This only works in the spring and there are usually quite a few people there.
