Got a phone call from one of my friends who lives in the Pulaski area there was a good push of steelies through the upper end of the DSR and staircase area of the Salmon river yesterday. Fish were ranging 5 to 12 lbs, said he see one 15 lber landed as well. Look for those fish to be around the RT. 2A bridge area today. Still plenty of kings around as well, greastest numbers of them from Pineville to Altmar working the gravel hard. The hatchery has gotten it's eggs for this years spawn.
Good luck to anyone heading out, hoping to get back out next week.

You got all winter to get back out there, Nov. & Dec. are 2 of my favorite months for steel. Feb is also a month that sees some real brutes show up in the river.
