well we went despite the snowy weather forecast. Saturday we hooked 14 fish between the 2 of us with no fish landed and today we hooked 7 fish with no fish landed. there are lots of fish in the river. we were fishing the lower fly-fishing zone. we saw a lot of fish landed just none on our rods. maybe we'll land one next year.

At least you got to get some on the line, the best part of steelie fishing to me is setting the hook and it stops you dead and your line takes off across the river and then it's - FISH ON - COMING DOWN!!!
Thats a good amount of hookups for as cold as it has been and with the water being low, cold and clear.

It could have been worse-you're trip could have been boring. Nice to see you got into some fish, and good for you fishing in that kind of weather. That's hardcore. Icy waders and heavy corkers can take their toll. In my experience there, most people hook into way more fish than they land. It just gives you another excuse to go back-like you need one.
