I was sitting here the other morning and was thinking of some way to speed up the process of drying or curing the paint on my lures, I first thought of making a hot box powered by a light bulb and then it hit me,,why not try one of those food dehydraters I've had kicking around in the basement...you know the ones ,,with the clear plastic trays you stack on top of each other,,it has a fan and a heater....OK so I tried it and it works GREAT,,I haven't burned the house down yet

Many, many years ago, John Skoglund (now deceased) of Lakeland Inc., told me that the way to test permanence is to make cuts in the shape of a crossword puzzle on your painted surface with the squares about 1/8 of an inch. Then apply a piece of scotch tape over the cuts and press down. Then lift off. If any of the paint comes off, there is an adhesion problem. He really was an expert. Hope this helps.
P.S. That dehydrator sounds very, very interesting. Thanks fishinmachine.
