I have a camp in northern NH. I plan on fishing the Rangley lakes region. Have you fished Richardson? It is about 15 minutes away? Would love any tips, recommendations!!

There's a discontinued Acme Super Smelt color that the salmon hammered last summer on a few days. Although on other days it didn't work. Typical Landlocked behavior!

Richardson and Rangeley can be tough. You'll do a lot of dragging and not much catching. Mooselook has a ton of small salmon. If you got there, go out of the ramp at Oquossoc and go down the left side til you hit the huge place with the cannons on the lawn. Troll back and forth out in front of there. It's almost a guarantee!! Richardson has some nice lakers but I haven't had any luck with them. I mark some wicked big fish on the bottom in summer. Richardson is the way to get to the Rapid River to fly fish. You can boat down to the other end, tie up and walk down the Rapid and fish some monster brookies!
