Matt,
I hope it works out. But don't get discourage if it doesn't. I was shoping for the right boat at the right price for over three years. As each year passed I continued to save and also continued to catch fish out of my old boat. One day it all came together.

Boat was solid, couldn't find a major issue... Pending input from marina review now.... Came on plane great.. 4.3 ltr v6... Thanks for all the input, I had a 15pt checklist for boat...

Good Luck! Lunds are great boats. I tend to like I/O's, I understand car-type motors...these outboards are way too complicated! ...guess any motor that runs will get you to fish!
I hope it checks out, she looks like a beaut' to me!

Reelax,
Unless there has been a change, I don't think you should shift the gears when in full tilt for trailering. I own a 2025 Lund ProV Magnum. Both motors are outboards but I used to own a stern drive boat and was told shifting in the up position is hard on the shift dog in the lower unit. As far as the boat goes... It handles any water I've put it in including 6 to 8 footers on L.O. Wasn't by choice though. The wind came up real fast and I was out 8 miles with five on board. I've had floor rotting also and I'd check under the gun walls to see if there is any rot where the down riggers are mounted. Oh by the way...Everybody was white knuckling that ride back to port on L.O....LOL...But I'm here to tell it...LOL

Matt, that 4.3 is one tough motor my crestliner is a 1987 and it still runs great

Good to hear, thanks for the words on the 4.3l-v6... It sure started well and ran like a top.... The marina's feedback was all good... Looks like the deposit is gonna stick... If all goes right, I may have it by as early as Sat...
