Brought the boat out to Henderson for the next 3 weeks. Convinced the Mrs to go along . Sun morning treated her to breakfast at 5 am at the Westview Lodge. By 6 had 3 rods set on riggers down 80-100 and a wire dipsey out 220.Started down the Trench by the High Rocks . Did not take long and we hooked into an 18 # King. After boating the king and getting set back up the rain started My father was watching radar on accu weather and keeping me updated on the storms. We had a few rumbles off in the distance but then by 10 the rain had blown by. We ended the day with 3 Kings 2 laker's and 1 break off. This morning we awoke to the blow and I decided to come home instead of beating ourselves. It was great coming home this morning when the wife said she would like to do it again but over 3 days instead of our sat nite drive out and Mon morn home.Looks like I will have to make reservations for next year ;D We did get stopped by DEC Biologists to weigh our fish.Take scale samples as well as letting us know that 1 king had an internal tag/microchip in its nose that they wanted. I of course cooperated so with a fish missing its nose I only have a pic of the King we picked up in a double
