EDITED TO CHANGE TITLE: On at 8am, off by noon... Set lines at 55' and 35' with sliders...Not there 5 minutes and the deep one pops...12 minutes later, this thing came into the boat just long enough for me to take the hook out, and get it's pic...I could have stretched it to 35" I think... After I made sure it swam down (and I stopped shaking), I reset the line and within minutes had another Laker...This one I kept for Mom...It went a good 23 inches... After that I went 6 for 8 on Salmon...5 stockies and one barely legal Salmon that went back...The big Laker was clean, but the 23"er had an old scar...4 stockies came on the slider, but one came from 55', and one came from 65'... The only lure that produced was my stealth Blue/Copper on the silver blank... Quickly becoming one of my 'go to' lures... ;D

wow, nice laker - what would be your estimate for weight on that bad girl. No clue, but... This site says at 33" with 'average' girth it would be a solid 15# At 34" 'average' girth, it would be 16.5# or so... www.laketrout.org/lake-trout-weight-calculator.htmThe one that ran away with the LCI was 34", and 15.9#

How much water were you over when you run into that Pig? Maybe 80 FOW...The rigger was right about 60, and this hit the slider, so maybe 30-35' down?

Nice fish Salmoneye! 'good to talk to you this morning. That area has be good to me lately as well. It was nice to chat with you too... I'm glad that I avoided the guy Perching on the hump, and swung wide to set up...I normally set up closer in and swing down around Swift's...

Did he hit that blue and silver lure? Everything yesterday came on that lure, and one that is done the same way, but with the Tamiron Copper Sequin tape instead of Datillio's ladderbacks...
